About
Dr. Alfred Balenor Buernor is a postdoctoral research fellow of UG Nkabom with interest in sustainable agricultural systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant-Microbe Interaction & Crop Science from the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), Morocco, where his research focused on enhancing grain legume production through biological and mineral innovations. His current work centres on sustainable poultry feed development, exploring the partial replacement of maize and soybean with locally available resources. Dr. Buernor combines molecular tools, bioinformatics, and field trials to advance resilient agricultural practices. He has authored scientific publications, presented at international conferences, and actively contributes to sustainable food systems across Africa.
